lewis hill
I'm buying a house the end of this month and supra insurance has just finished. I'm going to be only using it at weekends in the summer etc as I'll have a daily to get to work. How do people with single Supra's cover their car? I'm 24 and no one will cover me on classic insurance because of modifications and will only do a limited mile policy which is coming out 1200-1700! That's with 3000 miles a year, Even though it will be locked up in a garage! Seems pretty crazy to pay 1200-1700 for a years insurance to only use for a few months a year lol I have no idea if you can cover the car on house insurance? Although I very much doubt it? Any advice would be much appreciated Thanks Lewis

lewis hill
Which insurance companies have you tried mate so far? Hi bud I've tried Adrian flux and sky. Footman James wouldn't entertain me at

Wez
You can now get pay as you drive insurance for multi car owners, not used one myself and I think they may install a tracker to monitor usage.
lewis hill
The year before I had paid £1700 limited to 6000 miles. That was stored on a driveway also. Oh really? Assume that also monitors your speed and driving habits etc? As I've heard people get "trackers" but in actual fact it's a black box lol
Annabella
Yeah LV classic no good for you, got to be over 30. I really don't like the idea of being 'monitored' always seems like a good way of being stitched on a price hike as they may think you don't drive to their standards, or a momentarily lapse and go over speed limits and your policy goes up or is declined...... Exactly my point really as I don't want to be watched for the sake of a few mph over the limit! I guess there isn't much I can do except pay for it or take the risk of being un insured in the garage!
