Growing up, my biggest purchase! Joining the property ladder

So I wanted to keep this away from social media as its still early days, but I'm still buzzing from the news that I wanted to vent it somewhere!

Every year I always put a target goal to achieve/buy/reach, this year me and Grace decided it was time to get on the property ladder and stop lining somebody else's pockets with stupid high rent prices!

Well after a few months and missing a couple of property's we have just had an offer accepted! Still a long way off and obviously the chance that things may change but still a good step in the right direction.

Oh and the question on everyone lips..... yes it has a garage and this time a double one!!! (something I didn't expect from our first house)!

Wish me luck guys.

Jake

Nice one, good for you! Don't worry about the bills - yes, you'll be truly skint for a bit, but the non-essential maintenance can wait until you have the funds to do it.

Thanks mate. We have kept some penny's aside incase somthing happens and to give our own stamp to the place. But like you say we will just prioritise the necessary jobs

You are soo lucky for a double garage for your first house :)

Things will only get harder but I am sure like your attention to your Supra, you do well

Thanks mate. Exactly price continue to rise and our savings continue to earn next to nothing in interest so good time to take the plunge. Glad to hear it worked out well for you gives me some confidence.

Cool, spend as much as you can now on your Supra as you won't have any left when you move in! Seriously though miles better than lining someone elses pension pot, good luck.

Haha ain't that the truth, that's the reason I upgraded to the tt6 when I did and got the majority of the work out the way last year. Just small tinkering now. Although the plan will be to slowly accumulate single parts as I will now have the space to build it at home.

Congratulations mate all the best

Cheers ibrar.

Congratulations Jake, but a double garage might encourage you to buy another Sup :D

Haha if a bargain pops up then who knows. Thinking more a tatty mx5 track car as I've always wanted one.
