edd_t
Ok, ive ripped out my old Jap monkey fitted turbo timer. Which new one should I buy, they seem to range from £70 to £100. Seen a few from Apexi, HKS, Blitz & Greddy. But all seem to do the exact same thing. Anyone got any opinions?
Scarface GTti
I think its basically down to which one you find the best looking really, there isn`t much to choose between them. I`ve got GReddy one which is just fine. I bought a wiring harness from Envy so it was dropped in the car within 5 minutes. Dead simple! edd_t
What it looks like? my last one was hidden behind the dash! when the dash was taken away to fit the new alarm it fell into the foot well! lol. so you have these on display then? where do you put um? Ulrik
I got the Greddy Full Auto Turbo Timer Just got it setup in the car. Looks really sweet. And easy to use. My vote is on the greddy. (Get the easy harness setup kit also)

Faye Brother
Anyone got any opinions? Save your money and don't buy a replacement. They're gimmicks and are not particularly popular with insurance companies either.
terribleturner
I have a Blitz one that is small and sits over one of the blanking plates under the stereo perfectly.
wez_p
one of the Blitz ones can also double up as a digital boost gauge if you don't already have one of those?
Sharpie
all sounds cool ppl. but where do u fit it? If you cool down the car after a run then, you don't need one really. The one thing it did save me was sitting in the car letting it cool down when, it did not need it. When I was a noobie, I was wasting my time sat there for at least 2mins every time I took the car out so, was worth the money just for that IMO. I have modded the centre glove box and fitted it there out of view but, with easy access and fits into that recess very nice. (as originally seen on MKIV.com which, I liked very much) Here is mine (HKS Type-1) with a chewy box for size reference
