Bender Posted February 14, 2017 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Hi. Can anybody had idea what can i do with my idle as it dosent seems right. Most of the time it stays at 1100 - 1200 rpm on the warm engine sometimes it stays how it should between 800 - 900 and ocassionaly quite rare but happend sometimes 400 - 500 rpm and when i turn car off and start it again it back to one of the two first position. Mike2JZ Posted February 18, 2017 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Could be symptoms of a sticky throttle. Usually this has more to do with the throttle mechanism rather than the throttle plate/butterfly. Considering you can get an NA throttle body for cheap, I'd suggest replacing that first.
