The Raven
I brought this from my brother in law who had accepted a trade in value on it... So i gave him the cash instead and took it home. Cupra R 1.8 t 210bhp 82k I had sadly lost alot of my car fixing bottle when the supra broke years back so i thought this would be a good chance to try and get some MOJO back. Today its fuel pump failed so i will attempting to change it next weekend. I have plans to clean it up mop it, paint the calipers, clean the whole interior and fix a few little niggles then sell it on.

Brilliant car to blast around in and take for track days
Karl M N
What are these cars like reliability wise? Strongly considering replacing my daily drive with one of these.
Burna
What are these cars like reliability wise? Strongly considering replacing my daily drive with one of these. I wouldn't get one as a daily again, it was fine and fun when I wasn't commuting, but when I was it was way too thirsty, about the same as my Supra! They eat coil packs as said before, and they are pretty gutless above 80mph. Much prefer the daily I currently have by far, Fabia VRS, the best daily I have ever had! Big diesel lump, turbo, and no matter how hard I drive it I cant get it below 40mpg by the end of my commute! On a leisurely run I've seen 70mpg
a98pmalcolm
Next time you need coil packs let me know as we sell the R8 coil backs with the billet adapters at work so they fit
The Raven
Mine has been lowered and stiffed being a daily but then im old. It sticks like poop. But returns 29 mpg. If you want a blast in it before i sell it let me know Karl we are both in kent. O and dont buy cheap thermostats....this one lasted 4 weeks and faulted again.....im learning that buying none VW parts is not a great idea
