Any recommendations where to buy a good second hand iphone 5 from ?

It needs to be unlocked really, i have a cheap deal on EE, sim only but i'm tied to it for 10 months

Seems to be dozens of places on the net/ebay so any good previous experiences would be welcomed

Thanks

edit: ive found this place, http://store.musicmagpie.co.uk/

they seem to have lots to choose from at pretty decent prices and 12 month warranty

If it's from eBay and it doesn't work or as described then your be able to claim a refund.

I haven't bought a phone from eBay though. But they should.all come factory reset by law as there used to be a game on a phone that the creator died and everyone was selling phones with this particular game on it for 100s of pounds over the phone price new.

Sorry can't point you in a direction but eBay you should be OK another one to try is amazon.

You could see a phone shop locally or try a wanted add on the forum for one?

Just noticed you said it needs to be unlocked... Its on Vodafone so not sure how you would go about unlocking it... its there anyway so if its an option gimmie a PM :)

If you are out of contract or in your case upgrading, you can contact Vodafone to unlock it so that you can sell it. Some providers do this free of charge, you may need a sim in it though to do this but they can confirm.

An unlocked phone always commands more money.

I actually have an iphone 5s but the previous owner failed to get it unlocked by vodafone, they tried twice.

Ive had a local phone shop attempt to get it unlocked but 11 days later its still locked.

I was really after a phone with some warranty as they appear to be fine 1 minute and scrap the next.

I have an iphone 4 but thats pretty much on its last legs after having a new battery fitted, the repair shop say its a coincidence

it started playing up after they fitted the battery hence i need a new phone

Try CEX they are graded you can search on the website per store and go see it or mail order from them, unsure about warranty but will be std time frame to know it's useable and not a dog. Will do part x on other gadgets for higher value than cash sale too
