k222bye
Hi. So i was taking my car out for a run after it has been sat for a few weeks since i bought it. And something weird happened. I got back from the drive which was all well and good but then i sat back in the car and the car starting stuttering. Everytime i jumped up and down in my seat the car exhaust would stutter and it was about to stall. What could be the cause? Exhaust gasket leak? Car is decatted. Will take it to a garage asap and get it on ramp. Anyone experienced this before?
k222bye
Update: will check a the spark plugs, injectors and coil packs asap. I don't think it's a misfire though. The RPMs plummet when it goes over a bump in the road. Something is loose somewhere. Fuel pump may be playing up. I will check the exhaust system for any leaks using sea foam. Will also check if the restrictor ring/plate is ok. I just can't think what else it could be. The car has had the MAF deleted. Sensor issue? I'm at a loss. AC93
If bumps are causing the issue then it would point to something being loose
