Glanza_Mike
That's good timing, I'm literally removing mine today. Have run stock boost for 99% of their life, my cars done about 70k.

samdale
I don't want to thread hijack toooo much but what exactly is the difference? I've heard that vvti turbos were being sold by Toyota as a replacement part number for pre vvti turbos. This would suggest they are back compatible. Does this mean pre vvti turbos are "forwards compatible"?
JODY T
Not sure mate, I know the parts that the turbos fit onto is slightly different but the turbos may well be the same ide prefer a complete unit as it's easier so vvti is better for me
Rob W
Well I have a spare set of stock ceramics off of a vvti 70km IIRC for when the invertible happens to fit to my non-vvti. Just the end flange of the downpipe off the stock manifold is different to my knowledge.
