mr2 turbo

They are cracking little cars mate, and can be upto interesting bhp without breaking the bank. Mid engined, RWD and at least 220bhp depending on revision. Not expensive to buy or maintain either.

But obviously a Supra's better (Matt adds quickly as he remembers where he is ;) )

I was / am tempted by one of these but am a bit of a fat b*sta*d and struggle to fit in

I'm super lardy and find them very roomy - you must be a man mountain if you struggle.

Have you tried one for size? Being wedged inbetween the petrol tank and the door is cheaper than a bucket seat anyway :)

PS: I like MR2s

They are quite seriously under-rated due to the hairdresser/90s mid-life crisis image of the MR2. Having the engine over the rear axle makes them fantastic for launching and the later revision ones get very good 1/4 miles times on par with supras :)

I think you disrespect the mr2 turbo to compare it to a scrabbly, poorly built FWD Alfa!!!
