jim
I want to balance up the carbon rocket bunny spoiler at the back with a carbon front lip. I have an active spoiler and would prefer to keep it rather than going for a carbon RMM lip, so was considering either hydro-dipping the active spoiler blade, or getting it carbon skinned. I spotted this on eBay from Grams and would consider it, it makes sense as I could sell my blade to recoup some of the cost, but I'm not sure about it from the pic on eBay. Has anyone got one, if so was it good quality and could I see some better pics of it please? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301985042604
j_jza80
Personally I wouldn't bother, just go for oem. it will get peppered with stone chips in no time. At the very least, your want to get some protection film on it.
Josh42
As Jay has said, I would stick with OEM. At least the OEM lip has some flex in it
Delboy52
I have a GRAMS active lip and it has seen about 700 miles so far and no chips or signs of wear have appeared. It has a little flex in it but not as much as an OE one once fitted. So far I've managed not to snag it on speed bumps or curbs to report how resiliant to impact the carbon lip is. The mount holes need drilling on a new carbon one but it fits very well.
jim
I've got OEM but my spoiler is carbon and i think it will 'stick out' if it's the only carbon piece, so I definitely want some carbon at the front too. Yours looks much better in the pic than the eBay pic does Delboy, you got any more close up pics please bud?
Delboy52
I'll have a look this evening if I took any closer pics from that shoot. If not I'll take some from the car. Any particular angle you are interested in or you just want a close up of the carbon?
jim
Legend, cheers bud! close up of the carbon is what I'm most interested in, it looks a bit 'fake' in their pic but looks much better in yours, just want to confirm that from a close up pic please bud
