Owned the Supra for one week and the garage smashes my front bumper in!

Don't you just love the friendly honest service from your garage.

I did, until yesterday!

Took the car in as the rear caliper was sticking slightly and the disc was warmer than it should be (things got to be right!) they take it apart and grease it up. Send me on my way for free as i'm a regular and the big boss wasn't in :)

Take it back this morning as the disc is still getting too hot. Checking round the car touching all four discs then I see this...

The guy who test drove it didn't say anything, he didn't tell his boss either by the sounds of it.

I went past livid into calm silent rage! haha

I pointed out the mark on the curb where he hit it and he said ah yeah i'll talk to my boss when he gets in.

Thing that annoyed me was that the guy who fixed it and then test drove it spoke to me about what was wrong with it and didn't mention that he had just driven straight into the curb!

It would have been a big bang to pop the fiberglass!

They have agreed to fix it for me, not going to be cheap I don't think.

It's midnight purple, not sure if it is exactly the same as the Skyline colour but it's pretty similar.

I don't see an issue with shaming companies that do wrong and don't own up to it, maybe if more people did they wouldn't act like they do.

Formula One autocentres in Fareham Gosport. The service I have received before this has always been great, I think that it was one guy who just didn't know what to do when he did something wrong.

He picked the wrong option and kept quiet.

I've got to drop the car off and pick it up but hopefully that's it.

It's only about 3 miles from work so not too bad I suppose.

Yeah thats not too bad then.. I had an issue when i took mine in recently to a dealer, but they sorted it out.. but my main issue was I was the one that found the issue and there was complete denial about owning up to it... which I wasn't impressed with.

cered that sounds a bit like an offer!

When you free?

Sadly no! Luckily specialist garages tend to respect their vehicles, like when I had some new tyres fitted to mine shortly before selling the tyre fitter said he'll take photos of my wheels before he replaces the tyres so I have evidence in case they get damaged (polished Lexus wheels) luckily not a mark on them but he got a customer for life by doing that.

Any Japanese specialists near you? May have to pay extra but less fuss and fear, like Whifbitz I trust completely and I've only used them for an oil change service

I know what you mean, there is one but it's about 15 miles away or something.

Fine for big stuff that I know the specialist knowledge makes the jobs that much quicker for them but this was just a seized caliper :(

The garage in questions is literally a stones throw from where I work so I drop it in before work and then pick it up on the way out, laziness is the problem here!

Saying about alloys...they did fit my new alloys with tyres on my Type R EP3... chipped them! :( God dammit!

The manager said he would ring on Saturday to sort out a day to drop the car off at the body shop...nothing!

Nothing yet today from him either. You would think they would want to sort this out as its really unprofessional and is really putting me off getting any work done there!

If I don't hear back from them I'm just going to drop the keys with them and say I will pick it up when it's all completed.

Going to take pictures of the car and email them to them so any other damage caused will be sorted out.

I don't want to leave it with them really but I also don't think I should do the waiting a faffing around when it's their fault.

Aaaahhhh!
