harryww89
Chaps, Just wondering if anybody has ever had trouble with stuttering/fuel cut with fuel level below 1/4 tank. This has never bothered me too much as it's my track car only, fuel lines are standard down the car but AN6 from Tank to those, and AN6 from filter to FPR to rails. The Car has a stock rail, Sard 850s, Automotive FPR, Walbro 450lph, runs FCON VPro. Currently doing my winter build and I was assuming the fuel is heating up too much on the return back to the tank and causing the issue? I'm going to replace the lines down the centre of the car to allow for the fuel to cool better... but I am thinking, is heat in the fuel the cause of the problem in the first place. Car is in an undriveable state at the minute, but fuel pressure always seemed to look good? Any ideas/input would be appreciated Thanks, Harry
mellonman
May depend on what your tank came from iirc the pump pot in tanks have a different designs from n/a and tt so if you have a n/a tank it may clear the pot making it splutter.
