el_bandido
Has anyone used these? Contemplating getting a set, as they are the lightest available. Any experience/reviews would be ideal, as the other option is tracking down a set of second hand TRD ones on the cheap. The car is mostly street with some track, so I don't need anything hugely aggressive. The rest of my set up is a 1.5 way diff and Meister-R GT-1 coilovers running on pilot sport 4's. Style
They seem to be one of the best ones to go for from the research I did a while back. Bit of an eye watering price though
Frank Bullitt
TRD or OEM, iirc the Titan ones are too stiff.
David P
Supra ARB's come in J spec, Export spec, TRD spec and WTF. TRD jobbies are claimed to be "25% stiffer than OE" and are quite stiff enough for road use. I have these on mine with grease nipple-d tie-straps and they really let you know when you hit a pothole and maybe even bring on a slightly earlier onset of under-steer on wet roads, any stronger bars would only be of any use on a dry track. fastcar
With the higher spring rates of the miesters there isn't really much point on stiffer anti roll bars for a road car! Just stay with OEM and save your money
el_bandido
I've had TRD roll bars and meister-R suspension combo before on my IS200 and it was perfect for the road, so I'm leaning towards TRD after this feedback. Thanks gents.
a98pmalcolm
I have titan ones on mine for quite a few years, they seem fine, external grease port and adjustable.
el_bandido
Just had a look at the titans in more detail, looks as if I can make them a similar stiffness to the TRD and they are much lighter.
mwilkinson
I've got them on mine without issue.
Cam27
There was a guy from Germany on the facebook page selling a set for €400, could save you postage and import charges from the states
Pete
I have them. Good upgrade. Not too harsh at all and improved the handling.
Josh42
Have a look at the white line bars. Partbox offer them at a very good price (around 2/3 the cost of the next best priced) and my initial feedback is that they're excellent! Pete
Have a look at the white line bars. Whiteline had a reputation for being cheap crap that didn't last long...but that was over 10 years ago.
Josh42
Whiteline had a reputation for being cheap crap that didn't last long...but that was over 10 years ago. I had heard that previously, but then I spoke to a couple of members who had them fitted - Rob_SRi, BigNum - And they were very happy with them. Both of these guys have had them a while now with no issues AFAIK. I'm sure Si will confirm shortly
