CarlM
Are these genuine SR3's https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162363872200 Thanks Carl Edited January 24, 2017 by CarlM (see edit history)
Pixelfill
if you are asking whether they are OEM Toyota fit, they aren't. OEM fit have the recline lever only on one side, and the harness guide is not shiny plastic. If if you are asking if they are genuine -who knows? My Supra being a late, facelift, RZ model, comes with confetti recaros as a standard and I have recline levers on both sides, just like the ones from ebay link. Ric
the shoulder pads arent "pointy" enough to be OEM from a supra.

Pudsey
My old RZ 6 speed had genuine original Recaro's from the factory. It was a M - Registration late pre facelift. Just checked some old pictures. Tilt slide levers on both sides of each seats (ie. 2 x levers on each seat, 1 x inner and 1 x outer), and my harness holes were felt. Glad I double checked, as my memory obviously failing me. Edited January 23, 2017 by Pudsey Checked old photos to be 100%. bayside_supra
There is always an argument about the tilt levers on oem seats. Keron sold me my old ones as oem from a Supra and they had levers on both sides, and he is unlikely to lie. No one ever agrees lol. I'm pretty sure they are genuine Recaros mate

David P
I can't see the fascination with these seats, they are too narrow for me and I have difficulty getting out of them without squidging my plumbs on the sticky up hard topped bolster. marbleapple
The ones on the eBay listing look a lot wider than normal seats imo
Ric
These are OEM - Pointy shoulder pads (the speeds etc are more rounded) The harness guide is always flocked Cannot remember if the tilt levers are on both sides or not.

Me either, the pattern reminds me of 90s Coach seats or for the nerdy, L1011 tristar seats

Marty
Oem are SR2s, these are SR3s. They look genuine recaro though
Hammer
OEM - Felt seat belt guides, tilt levers on both sides upper, single fine tilt adjuster lower outer side. I think that last one is where the confusion comes from as the ones in the photo have the fine adjusters on both sides and people confuse these with the tilt levers. CarlM
Thanks everyone Loads of great information here regarding the Recaro seats! I'll combine it all for anyone else looking at this in the future Factory fitted Recaro facts SR2 model Pointy shoulder pads (SR3 are more rounded) The harness guide is always flocked (SR3 black plastic finish) Single fine tilt adjuster lower outer side (SR3 has these both sides) Tilt levers on both sides upper SR2 left vs SR3 right Edited January 24, 2017 by CarlM (see edit history)
