David P
For what it's worth, recorded in the build thread, my supercharged stock 10:1 compression GE developed spark and ignition-timing issues above 10lbs boost, this was cured by fitting a brand new distributor. However, similar problems returned above 14lbs boost. The spark blow-out was cured by fitting coil-packs, but ignition control via the distributor was not precise enough to map @ 16lbs with aggressive timing with such high compression. This was with compression @ 10:1 and which may be the concluding factor to this conundrum, both your engine and sidewaysdan's are 9:1 and the previous issues I refer to may have also been with 10:1 compression? I try and keep up with members builds but can't remember every exact head-gasket/piston combination.
