Annabella
I agree they messed the setup, but he could have started from row 3 if he'd done a banker lap earlier. It is Monaco and accidents do happen.......... Anyway - there's bound to be a safety car or two with Vandoorne, Ocon, Stroll etc
formatzero
Interesting to hear Raikinon,s response to being told he was on pole, typical low key, anyone else would be whooping it up,loved it.

Anyway - there's bound to be a safety car or two with Vandoorne, Ocon, Stroll etc Judging by how snappy his car was i think he could be one in the barrier too, very close call he had at the top of the hill turning into Massenet

Style
Monaco is never a good GP to watch these days, there's simply no room to joust for position. Only place really is a dive bomb coming out of the tunnel. It's a shame as it will never change with how much history and glamour it has. It's dated and needs changing if it's going to work in the modern era. LH struggled all weekend and Ferrari made the most of it. Vettel looking pretty dominant just now
Annabella
Yes was boring, not sure why they cant overtake now, they used to down from the tunnel as said above. Save up some boost..... Anyway poor Alonso, bet it feels familiar!!

Rajinder
Ferrari would regret if they let Vettal go. What a drive by Vettal.

formatzero
Ferrari would regret if they let Vettal go. What a drive by Vettal. Quite agree,it seems that Vettel is the only one who can keep pace with Hamilton if he has no issues, sadly yesterday's damaged wing deprived us of a race at the front. Overall it was a good race though.

Just a pity Ocon didn't get punchy earlier after his pit stop, but he didn't know Perez wasn't going to do the team order thing.
formatzero
Hamilton on pole again by some margin,is he destined to be one of the all time greats?if not who is going to knock him off his perch !!!
BoGlE
Only people i consider to be a be knock Hamilton off his perch are vettel and Alonso if he gets a decent car
Dnk
I think he is already if you just go by the numbers Any of the top guys in the Right car could knock him off his perch Verstappen in the right car would be my choice for the next champ, Alonso's days are done imo unless he gets in the Ferrari or Merc next year, rumours are he's in talks with Renault
Annabella
It was a stella lap under pressure, on a dusty street circuit. Alonso is too toxic I think for Ferrari to take him back. Not sure why he'd go to Renault, be better at McLaren if they got into bed with Merc.
formatzero
Well that was some race !!!
Annabella
heh it was - those teeth were shining on the podium. Thought the petulant one (and not Hamilton) deserved a race disqualifcation, shocking example to kids and other drivers, bit like the school run! FIA would see the telemetry to see if he braked or not.
peter richards
almost seems like in his eyes he never did anything after the rear end . good race though enjoyed it
peter richards
the fact he was in front , and wanting the slow safety car to get clear , up to vettel to do the same and give himself room . i think he will have some sort of penalty once its all looked at
