Nic
Valtteri Bottas moving to Mercedes Felipe Massa back at Williams for 2017 http://www.topgear.com/car-news/motorsport/felipe-massa-has-returned-formula-one Pascal Wehrlein driving for Sauber
Dnk
Should be interesting to see how well Bottas does against Hamilton
Style
Closest it's been for a while I'd say. Hopefully Red Bull and Ferrari have closed the gap in performance to Merc
Alex_GT
Presumably part of Bottas' contract is that he is the number two driver. I can't see them being allowed to race eachother.
Annabella
Yeah should give Lewis a run for his money, hopefully the new regs will throw a spanner or two in the mercedes dominance gap.
formatzero
Can't see him beating Hamilton in his first season, anyway his car is due for all the failures this season:d
TomWeight
I don't think Bottas will be pushing Hamilton as much as Rosberg was but will definitely make the season interesting. Really wanna see Red Bull do more this year though with more emphasis on mechanical grip with the new tyre sizes.
Style
Changes to the teams as well as Paddy Lowe has taken off to Williams, Adrian Newey back at Red Bull and Mercedes picked up James Allison who was great when he was at Ferrari. Might mix chemistry up a bit and bring teams closer together in terms of competitiveness
Dnk
I think if Bottas was told he'd be a number two at Merc he would of stayed with Williams or gone elsewhere
Pete
Adrian Newey back at Red Bull I'm guessing he's finished messing about with the fancy sports car.
Style
I'm guessing he's finished messing about with the fancy sports car. I think he's still doing a few bits there, but the new regs for this season has tempted him back into a bit of extra involvement at Red Bull. T2 MSW
Going to be an interesting Season I recon. I hope they are all close in terms of performance as I want to see a big fight with actual racing
azam
Can't wait for it to start, I work at mclaren so it's a good atmosphere here when f1 is going on. Would like mclaren to get in the lead but my money is on redbull [emoji52]

Alex_GT
The more I think about it the more pissed I get that they completely wasted Wehrlein. Legitimately scored a point in what many would consider the worst car on the grid, plus he is already a DTM champion beating many older and vastly more experienced drivers in the process. A complete waste.
BoGlE
So Bernie is out. We saying its a good thing or not? I really liked him but I did believe something needed to change in management
Dnk
It depends what the new owners do as to whether its good or bad so only time will tell
jamesmark
On the face of it, I think Bernie leaving will be great for the sport. Although he was brilliant he was also a blocker for the sport and with the digital era being around us for years now, F1 under Bernie never appeared to fully embrace it. Hopefully it will mean fairer share for smaller teams too and not just having 'keep Ferrari happy' regime. Like above only time will tell. BoGlE
Yeah I'd be happy to see it abit fairer for the smaller teams. Can't be having teams like manor going under every season
T2 MSW
The first thing they are looking to do is upset Ferrari and reset the payments that go to each team. Can only be a good thing IMO, can't see Ferrari seeing it that way though. Great to see Ross Brawn back as well, he's obviously done enough fishing
Alex_GT
Allowing 1 car teams again would help.

Swampy442
New McLaren looks sexual in my eyes. A lot going on on that front wing!
