Chris Bailey
NGK Iridium Grade 8 or 9 I think is suitable for a BPU car.
Frank Bullitt
Iridium IK22 plugs or NGK BCPR7ES. The iridium’s will last longer but will cost more. The NGK’s are a lot cheaper but will need replacing every 3k miles give or take. Sparkplug FAQ here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?41927-FAQ-Spark-plugs Also, if you click the blue bpu in your first post it will give you a run down on the parts. 6speedmark
Thank you people in will get them ordered, when people say how long a plug will last I don't really understand? ??wat determines a broken plug unless the car won't start? ?? Frank Bullitt
Copper is better from a mapping perspective as well iirc. You can order your plugs from here - http://www.opieoils.co.uk/spark-plug-and-glow-plug-lookup.aspx and don't forget to use the code M4SUPOC and get 10% Club Discount. Dnk
No idea about the mapping, i read a few stories about iridium tips breaking and basically killing your motor so use the copper type
