raddys
For sale are my bbs lm's.. im not 100% sure about doing this as it took me ages to find these in a supra friendly fitment but im pretty sure i want to keep the supra stock for now and these just sit in my garage gathering dust. They are 18inch 5x114, rears are 9j and fronts are 8j, Et35 (however they are reverse mounted atm so are roughly et25) I bought the wheels a few months back and i also purchased 4 brand new yokohama ad08r tyres.. i only fitted 2 tyres (1 front & 1 rear) to see what they looked like on my car The tyre sizes are 255/35-18 & 225/40-18, if your worrying about 9j being to small on the rear it has the same width rear tyre as the OEM 17's which handle bpu fine with no dramas. The wheels have been refurbed with hyper silver barrels and standard gold centers, 2 wheels have slight curb rash which has only taken the paint off, no longer then 2-3 inchs on 2 wheels (nothing bad atall). A highly concentrated cleaner was used on the wheels once which if you can see in the photos has slightly discolored/stained the gold centers, again this isnt a major problem. My price is £1400 which i think is more then fair considering they are top brand wheels in rare fitment wrapped in premium rubber
j_jza80
GLWS These were mine before, and just to add when I got them, they were in very good original condition, and had never been repaired or welded at all. They were rebuilt with all new stainless steel bolts all round. I had 255 and 235 Vredestein ultracs on them when on mine, and as Raddys has said, it was perfect for BPU. The kerb rash was done by me when doing a road trip through Europe a couple of years ago, on a particularly thin motorway toll booth. I had them inspected by ian Jemison engineering when I got back (one of the most respected wheel engineers in the country, used by Prodrive among others) who said the kerbing was so minor that it would sand out. Personally I think Raddys wants his head testing for getting rid of these as they look amazing on his car (as they did on mine), but his loss is someone else's gain. j_jza80
Probably worth having a look on one of the VW forums (E38?) or Wheelwhores or something similar, as I know there's a big thing in that scene for custom wheel barrels.
Dnk
Might be worth giving http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/ a call
bayside_supra
I'll email image wheels but it's probably going to take the price up to over £2k, plus the refurb in silver I would want to do... all in will probably bring it a little too close to a new set price for the hassle involved. I will see what they say though.
