P_Bazz
Hey guys, I'm going to run a FFIM intake with an OEM Nissan Q45 throttle body on my NA-T and I noticed that the idle control on the Nissan is controlled by a waxstat on the throttle body itself. The waxstat is heated by coolant lines on the throttle body warming up the wax and lowering a plunger which in turn shuts the throttle valve. If connected properly would this system work on the Supra as well or do I need to ditch the Nissan system and use the GTE IACV setup? David P
You can fit a Supra TPS with an adaptor you can buy and the ICV will function by ECU, or you could plumb it in and have cold start cycle by old money.
