drift3r
Hi all, new to the supra ( got it last week ) and cant wait to get rid of the stock wheels. Will 18'x7.5 wheels ET51 fit a supra? with 235 tyres--for N/A supra. any advice will be much appreciated
merckx
I think the tyre would be too wide for the wheel.
jim_supra
when you say ET51 do you mean the centre bore size? if so the supra has a centre bore of 60.

jim_supra
right ok then, not sure what the offset is, think its 38??
drift3r
yep offset is 51. I had 235 tyres on 7.5 wideth wheels b4 on my FTO with no probs, on 17'' wheels tho
merckx
You can use this spread sheet, just input the wheel or tyre sizes . Supra Tyre fitment.xls
merckx
I might be wrong. I don't know where you can get a definite answer though.
drift3r
thanks for the link, i 've tried that spread sheet but isnt it for TT supras? any diffrence ? I know the offset is very close to stock but the wideth is narrower, will it affect the handling?
heckler
TT & N/A are the same when it comes to wheels.
drift3r
ok thanks for that, need a bit time to play with that sheet
merckx
You're probably better off speaking to somone who sells wheels and tyres. Ibrar Jabbar is a member on here, he's got Pro Alloys. http://www.pro-alloys.co.uk/ His advert is sometimes at the top of the screen. I think my tyres are too wide for the wheel aswell ! Digsy
7.5" wide is a tad narrow for a Supra - espeaiclly on the back. 8" min for the front and more like 9" or 10" for the rears is more common.
