Kev.O
About 3 UK TT manuals in Silver left. One genuine and 2 single turbos, mine included. That's what we know of anyway. /QUOTE] Who has the stock one Greg?

Bobbeh
Could be a good project, as has been said, engine should last despite the high miles, as long as its been maintained/well serviced you'd have thought many of the watch items would be checked on MOT's/Services and fixed/replaced if issues arise. The fact this guy has kept it running daily rather than SORN or doing short trips would probably be worse for the car, is probably a good thing. Dunk's list is comprehensive - get someone to thoroughly check out as many of those potential issues. Just because its old doesn't mean you're going to get all those issues either. I saw a thread about rotting fuel lines so in a panic checked mine.. which were spotless. Judge each car individually, try not to generalise. Dnk
As good as they are even if they're looked after i think i'd also be getting a leak down test done on the motor, that'll give you a pretty good idea on healthy the engine is. Or at least a compression test
Scooter
Indeed it's not at "take a punt" money so needs a thorough checking and anyone trying to sell should be up for/expect that.
