Benzsupra
I went to Old School Windscreens in Chertsey, they done my two door windows and boot window (quarterlights were already done). They charged me £170 for cash after a quiet word in the boss's ear, and they are guranteed against bubbling and peeling off ETC. Very good finish. http://www.oldschoolwindscreens.co.uk This is their web address.

bromy
I thought tinting anything forward of the 'b' pillar was a MOT failure
tbourner
Not an MOT failure, just completely illegal (don't think they check it in an MOT). I had my rear quarters and rear screen done for £140 in Southampton.
DamanC
If its any use to you chaps then we can do it for only £125 for all 5 windows or £75 for the rears http://essexmcc.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=650&st=
samsupra37
I use a mobile guy, he is really good and reasonably priced too. Here are his details: Andys Tints; 07745076247; Email: [email protected]. The price I paid was....£75 for the rear and door windows of the Supra and £50 for the skylines door windows. Good luck
nickyboy
Tintacar are near Northolt/Greenford - just behind the B&Q which is on the left as you head into london (or just before the 50mph speed cameras at the footbridge if you don't know the B&Q). I had my rear quarters and rear screen done for £140 in Southampton. its not illegal to have the front side windows done. just only allowed 30% tint in those and rear quarters and rear windows as dark as you want. tbourner
Except front door windows come with 25% tint from factory to stop UV rays, so unless you can find a window tinting company that apply 4% tints I'm afraid it's illegal to tint your front windows. nickyboy
This has been discussed before.
SupraTT2004
that UV light at 25% using clear film, not the shade colour. Anyways just been looking through the new law book at my work and we all wrong as your NOT allowed to tint the passenger or driver side windows anymore. lol
tbourner
that UV light at 25% using clear film, not the shade colour. No it's tint from factory, look at your window halfway down with sunglasses on you can clearly see that the window is a darker shade than the 'sky' above it. Anyways just been looking through the new law book at my work and we all wrong as your NOT allowed to tint the passenger or driver side windows anymore. lol That's what I said isn't it?
