Glanza_Mike
Hi guys, so I've just 'bought' Sheefas Halfords battery off him that he ran on his UK spec Supra. I didn't realise that UK and Japanese cars have different battery terminals. The ones on this battery are bigger than the ones on my cars wiring loom. I'm presuming quite a few of you will have fitted a UK battery into an import Supra before? What's the best way to go about this? thanks, Mike. ibby
This is terrible for Sheets to do this to you. Bad man. On a serious note when you mean bigger do you mean that the actual battery terminal connector slips over the new battery. If so.. You can bend the battery connector on the wiring loom to make a more sung fit. Or replace the connectors on the wiring loom side. Or use washers as spacers on the bolt giving you the ability to make it more tighter
Mike2JZ
Think I had the same problem with mine back when I first bought it. Used a quick release battery connector instead

Wez
Correct, UK has larger terminal. I just fitted new larger battery connectors which I also purchased from Halfords When I had an NA I got a replacement Yuasa battery from AllParts so didnt need to change terminals. Sheefa
Thats odd the Battery was from me Originally and Mine what J-Spec Don't think it was Paul. I bought yours and a new one and think I sold yours to Jake (Ripped_Fear) but can't remember which way round. Both were practically new anyway. Must be an easy fix.
