T2 MSW
Does anyone know what an R Spec box does? Found it wired into the dash above the stereo. Its not a speed convertor as there is one already on the loom. Im thinking maybe an active spoiler controller?
j_jza80
Either that, or something like a gauge controller or radio signal converter.
T2 MSW
Answered my own question. Managed to get the box open without damaging it and took a photo of what I found Its a TVKit V2 apparently. doing loads with zero components on the board

samdale
I know there's a lot of strange things found behind the dash on imported cars (something I'll have the privilege of discovering once I have that dash panel to fit) but that is class Also begs the question, did the owner/installer know the contents of the box? Someone has paid some good money for that and actually installed it as it was soldered in to the wiring loom. Prob then spent ages trying to work out why it did not do what it was supposed too
