However, I don't know if I should buy a VVTI engine or not. I know the VVTI gives better low down response so would prefer that, but are they the same to turbo as a non VVTI or would it have more complications? Car is currently a non VVTI. Josh42 Posted December 27, 2016 Share Posted December 27, 2016 If the VVTi lump is coming out of an Aristo/GS300, then the sump will need changing, along with the loom etc. I'm not entirely convinced a NA VVTi looms are readily available as VVTI GE's were only sold to the US market I believe.
