outatime
Help! I had a blow out on my nearside front tyre and cant get a replacement tyre by the weekend. I HAVE to have my Supe on the road for Easter weekend! I am thinking of putting my old 16" wheels back on the front - will this mess up the handling too much? I know it will alter the balance with the fronts being narrower... My current fronts are 235/54/17, the ones I want to put on are 225/50/16. The rears are 255/40/17... Cheers. Guest Martin F
Why not just put your whole set of 16's back on all the way round ? Problem solved.

So true........theres no posing value to be had when your sporting different alloys on the front to the back.

That is the obvious answer... Unfortunately, my 16" rears are bald so its either dragster style mix and match or i'm driving my van all weekend. Terminator
Apart from the look I can't see it being a major problem. Just take a little more care in the corners
outatime
Yeah, i'm aware how utterly shite it will look. Buuuttttt, its sunny, theres some nice cars about and im itching to get back in the cockpit... I'll have a ponder...
Need4Speed
If looks don't cause you a problem, just swap the front wheels back to std. Any Supra is better than no Supra. People will assume the real rims are in for a refurb or something. It's a road car after all; you're not talking about lap times are you?
