Flan
Hey guys just had my exhaust repaired after my crash, back box was badly dented so we opted for just welding a bit of pipe on in its place, also had a first decat intstalled. I knew it would be loud and all but it makes an awful rattle at around 2k rpm onwards intermittently, sounds metallic. Any idea what this is or if it's just a result of the decat? Ric
Probably the heatshields above the exhaust
SupraLEDrears
It should sound raspy but not like a loose rattle
Scooter
Check the subframe clearance carefully, I just adjusted my restricted ring once and when bolting it back up it then vibrated occasionally on the subframe, had to loosen the blots off and wedge (get someone to hold it) whilst doing them back up again, just a few more mm clearance but it needed it!
