Noz
Anyone else see this post? WTF is going on with Supra parts. Seriously, idiots adding on monies expecting mega income for parts which aren't valued. Discontinued parts. Man I have no respect for people adding on extra profit for items which seriously aren't worth it. Discontinued Facelift Rear Lights. I have a CRX and I don't see anyone selling discontinued parts for that! So annoying. People inflating prices for their own profit. What a rip off. Being in the trading business I hate anyone who just adds what `what they feel it's worth` for the sack of it. Boils my
Frank Bullitt
If you find that offensive you should take a look at the pricing of parts on Supraforums, eye watering doesn't even begin to describe it.
Noz
I just think its a shame. I'm there trying to create new innovative items, and others are trying to ramp up prices and rip everyone off. Like, why be like that. Just a shame! j_jza80
Time to start hoarding parts I think. Glad I bought my new facelifts last year while they're still available. Are we saying that facelift rears are no longer available then?
Frank Bullitt
I totally agree with you, unfortunately I have noticed the same thing starting to happen in the UK. Best bet would be to try and stock up on items that are reasonably priced and store them until you need them.

Are we saying that facelift rears are no longer available then? I picked up a set of rears recently which included the new looms. I had to wait a long time for them to arrive and my Toyota dealer had real difficulty sourcing one side with the loom as Toyota kept sending it without saying there weren't any left! Are we saying that facelift rears are no longer available then? They are available Jason, I spoke to Keron only a month back and he ordered a large quantity of rear light sets. The trouble is they don't come as complete units anymore, so you have to purchase the lenses, looms and all the bulbs separately. Not a real problem but certainly additional cost that was much cheaper as factored into the complete unit purchase price. j_jza80
Seen another thread recently were some American had said they were NLA, good to see there's no truth to it.
Frank Bullitt
Seen another thread recently were some American had said they were NLA, good to see there's no truth to it. Now we just have to buy every item separately and pay more for the privilege
Noz
Prices are crazy for facelift rears. Shame no one provides another option apart from LEDs or Halos. Like a new style insert or new design. Something fresh.
Frank Bullitt
^ Sounds like you are touting for new ideas? Not too sure what can be done to these that already hasn't. Aside from the kit heckler made for his car and the clear indicator conversion I don't think much else suits, some of these newer expensive rear lights made to imitate other cars look gash imo. charlton
LHD v RHD costs, although I do agree that's a bit steep
Ric
Yep, it's the LHD part. Anything LHD seems to fetch a massive premium just because there isn't many of them about.
