rider
LV Classic Car, depends on your mods and age though. I have my Supra TT6 through LV Classics and asked for a quote on an additional modified 600bhp single. I asked if they wanted the spec sheet emailed over but they said no and quoted me an annual £280 for £21k agreed value (as opposed to £220 for the standard TT6 on £18k agreed value). I was surprised they didn't want a rundown on the mods but happy with the quote. So looks if you are old enough and have a good driving record they don't have an issue with higher hp modified cars. The classic policies are all limited mileage though they don't go below 5,000 mile policies and do require the insured has a separate daily driver. LV top the customer satisfaction surveys from claimants too so if they will quote they are really one insurer that should be contacted.
Annabella
Yep, did you have to send 6 pics in?
Alex_GT
Why? They won't insure modified vehicles.
Tsia
Admiral is one to avoid. Why's that? I'm with Admiral currently as they've always given me the best prices on the Supra. Edit: maybe it's because I've not switched off from them in 5-6 years, but they're all good with the mods on my last renewal.
Alex_GT
I sent all mods through for the BPU via email to Admiral and they wouldn't quote. I have also been with them for a few years, but I got the impression they didn't want to talk to me about it, like I was wasting their time. Andrew K
I'm with Sky Insurance with like for like modification And an agreed valuation done this year round. Adrian flux would insure me but were a lot more expensive! Footman James wouldn't touch me due to all the modifications I have done to the car!
