pedrosixfour
EBC Yellow were never rated as a suitable pads for the Supra mate. I know pad choice is very subjective, but these pads really do fare badly in the forum general consensus. Have you explored all the other options? Porterfield do a fast road pad, as does Chris Wilson (I think) I had excellent braking performance with the Hawk HPS pads, even at track days. Had a set of very nearly new red stuff on my first Corrado vr6 when I got It, without a doubt the worst pads I've ever had, might as well have been made of glass. mikeekim89
Cheers guys. Im after fast road and track pads ideally. Suitable for long periods of heating up and good from cold. Ill look into other options too ofcourse, just ebc are what ive used before and had no issues. Ill look into other options, any other suggestions? Im going too look at Hawk, porterfield and the CW pads too. Just need too find something suitable that wont only last a few miles.

Swampy442
Why do you specifically need fast road/track pads? Doing lots of track days?
mikeekim89
Thats the plan. Im looking at a long weekend next summer for nurburgring and rock am ring if nothing else. Im not exactly a slow driver either..
Swampy442
Brakes are like tyres, hugely subjective but Ill say Ferodo DS2500s. Excellent in my experience, or if you want a more track biased pad the DS3000. Take a bit of warming up but powerful with zero fade. The 3000s eat discs though

I had ds2500 pads on my mr2, with the big brake kit I designed, and they were fierce!
