Sandude
My Mk4 TT VVti BPU Supra is automatic but also has manual gears 1&2 but no clutch. Is it possible to push start it from say gear 2 ?

Frank Bullitt
You can't do it, there are no ways around this. It can't be done. Automatic transmission systems are not designed for push starts. E2A Whilst it maybe technically possible to push start some automatic cars doing so is generally impractical. The car must be pushed to a much greater speed than those with a manual transmission. - - - Updated - - - Are you alergic to jump leads? You don't use jump leads when trying to steal a car Edited December 11, 2016 by Frank Bullitt (see edit history)
