AndrewOW
Has anyone also caught this new tv series on Sky Atlantic? In one word: Amazing! I think they've done an excellent job, and is now my favourite series behind Game of Thrones.
Ric
I've been engrossed in it, amazing series easily the best i've seen recently. Just so much to think about and various paths it could all go.
mattdavies
Yes been watching it, was not gripped properly till episode 6 when stuff started to happen
j_jza80
Yep, best series since Game of Thrones. Westworld seems to be the culmination of current thinking in Hollywood, that series deserve the same quality of actors, directors and composers as films, and it has really paid off. Of course, Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris are as good as you would expect, but pretty much all of the cast is outstanding. Shame we won't get another season for 2 years The current series of Walking Dead has been pretty good too, with the exception of a couple of episodes. The addition of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan has injected some much needed life into it.
Frank Bullitt
Is it based on the 70's Western thriller film by Michael Crichton staring Yul Brynner?
AndrewOW
Yes, it's a reimagining of it, but based around the same idea. It's totally worth a viewing.
kitch79
Is it based on the 70's Western thriller film by Michael Crichton staring Yul Brynner? It is indeed. I've watched them all, and as said above, until the last 3 or 4, it was kind of boring at times. It's also head battering at times ha
Dim Sum
Love the series. I haven't seen the original but I know of it. I had to admit it was a slow start but well worth a watch. Kinda reminds me of the channel 4 'Humans'

mwilkinson
What did we all think about the final episode?
Kendo11
What did we all think about the final episode? Brilliant. Tied up a good few theories that were doing the rounds, and gave Hopkins a final chance to shine as well as setting up the hosts' 'awareness' for the next series. Maybe a spoiler - seen a good few people suggesting that Hopkins/Ford may have imprinted his own consciousness into another host. Could be miles off though. Also - anybody see the trailer for Fortitude halfway through the last episode? That's another brilliant show.
mwilkinson
That's an interesting theory, and seems plausible. I'm also looking forward to the new series of Fortitude.
Tricky-Ricky
Enjoyed it, one of the few series that kept me guessing ....for a bit! i was usually right in the direction it was going, have a hard time finding things these days that i cant see it all coming, which spoils it, liked the first series of blind spot, but its now become very predictable
AndrewOW
I thought the final episode was a real mind boggle, but I kept up with it, and was really excellent. There are so many routes this could go down now. The whole Maeve storyline being a distraction from Ford's real intentions was very clever, and Dolores slowly becoming self-aware was very well played I thought. This kind of echoes from when the Final Five in Battlestar Galactica became aware of their true selves, which was also a fab series (until the silly ending). I kinda guessed that William was the Man in Black, but also an excellent storyline too. Well, I will have to wait a couple of years until the next series. Ho hum. Game of Thrones in between though, so can't be bad.

The twist with Maeve is something I didn't see coming, where Bernard made out everything she's doing and rebelling against is just yet another narrative.
