jcbt
Depends on how cost effective it is as I'm more pointing towards single turbo over TT Still cannot see you getting a well built single six speed for less than £25k
T2 MSW
Still cannot see you getting a well built single six speed for less than £25k if someone wants to give me £25k they can have mine. Thats insane money for a single supra Plus there is a 660bhp single for sale with a brand new V161 on this forum for £22k currently so thats not really true

Chris Bailey
T2s right be seen a few pop up but just not perfect for me Think you'll struggle to find something better in the current market. Let's be honest here it's a fully built single turbo 6 speed in a desirable colour with a brand new V161 6 speed box that probably cost £6000 alone!. 660bhp, new gearbox, great spec using quality parts, built by a supra specialist with receipts to prove...for a respectful price tag of £22k. What more do you want???
rider
As everyone says, its a waiting game. Needs someone wanting to sell at the time someone wants to buy and then the two might well be able to agree on a price as anyone not wanting to sell is either not going to offer their car for sale or they are going to want to much for it. importing is out of bounds as far as I can see at the moment with prices for a TT6 now starting at £20k to get here and on the UK road. So the choice is to widen the search to include other cars or adopt patience in the belief something will come along eventually and make the wait worthwhile. T2, I think you'd be surprised about the way pricing is going and its going in a good way if you are a current or future seller of a well cared for not trashed or dogged in Supra, but we can chat about that anyway on Saturday. j_jza80
It is good value, I wouldn't let mine go for much less than that, and mine isnt a manual (although it is a higher spec otherwise)

The reminiscing went something like, shit that was expensive to insure.

charlton
I'm guessing a few people here know nicky as the BS police would usually be on the case for a 20 year old with £18k to splash on a 600hp Supra Most here seem to struggle with insurance on any Supra when they're under 25, have you got quotes already? If so, surely there cannot be too much difference in price between a 660hp NA-TT-Single and a 600hp TT-Single Also make sure those quotes aren't for a UK spec
nicky
I don't know anyone on here mate haha, nah I did quotes when I was 17 trying for every year until I was 21 and that's when quotes came through (at this time I had a 1l fiesta, this was nearly 2 years ago) so things happened over two years had a s14 that loved to eat it's own bottom ends decided to get rid of it and looked at my available options, evo 9, r32 gtr etc and none of them were allowed until 21, so for a laugh thought I'd try insurance quotes on a tt6 and there it was, called my current insurance (admiral) and they quoted me £1700 until November 2017 on multicar, as for the whats the different question, my insurance won't allow ANY engine swap what so ever, even I wanted to put a 1.0L micra engine in it they don't allow it, but they allow nearly any other mod
