TomWeight
Alright, I've been working at this for over a month now and I've finally come round to the time that I'm gonna get myself some new wheels and tyres but trying to get my brain round the fitments! So far with the help of the guys at Driftworks, I've come to a decision on the following: Fronts - 235x40x18 - 9.5J + ET25 Rears - 275x35x18 - 10.5J + ET25 Only thing is the car is pretty standard and I don't want to get involved with too much arch work. Can anyone with a better brain than me confirm if these will be OK or if they're going a bit too aggressive?
ashloys
It depends if you want to have any camber/stretch at all. I think for 'proper' fitment those sizes are slightly too aggressive. 18X9.5 ET30 for the front would be grand, ideally with a 245/255 tyre. 18X10.5 ET40 with a 275 tyre would be perfect. Whenever I was working out wheel fitment a while back my maximum width/offset at the back was 18x10.5 ET30, 25 won't fit perfectly without slight stretch/camber. What wheels are you looking at dude? TomWeight
I don't mind a bit of stretch but I'm definitely more of a function over fashion man. The front I can do at ET30 but the rears won't go higher than ET25 on the 10.5. Looking at the JR10's (the CCW copies).
jcbt
You also need to consider brake calliper clearance - what brakes are on your car?
TomWeight
They're the UK brakes Driftworks did reckon they'd fit but I'm not so convinced now Might just go for some Rota Grids for the time being and save up for some proper CCW's
ashloys
They will 'fit' but not without stretch etc as I said. If I were you I'd just go with 9.5J/10J instead at the rear with a lower offset. Also, JDM Distro are better for Japan Racing, they're the main EU distributor and are cheaper than Driftworks for them!
TomWeight
As I haven't got any power upgrades yet I am thinking of downsizing to these sizes which are available: Fronts - 235x40x18 - 8.5J + ET25 Rears - 265x35x18 - 9.5J + ET30 Also, looked up JDM Distro prices but are actually slightly more expensive than Driftworks for these! Might be because of the custom build
berg
I have 10.5J ET30 rears with a 275/30/19 and they fit fine with a little bit of room to spare The 10.5j et25 will fit with a 275 tyre Rolled arches are a must though Edited December 6, 2016 by berg (see edit history)

TomWeight
Went with the smaller sizes in the end. Will get pictures up when they've got tyres and are on the car. Thanks all for the help!
