C12MMO
Hi Guys, My car is booked in with whifbitz next week for a single turbo conversion, so i've just started to check the car over as its been sat a couple of months. I have refitted all the dash and the air con isn't working, it worked for ten minutes then stopped. I have tried a spare unit that i had and nothing happens with that one either it just lights up. I have checked and changed the air con fuse in the passenger footwell and still have the same issue. Not sure what else to test or check? Could do to sort it out as a 5 hour journey to wales in December won't be much fun with no heating or a way to de-mist the windscreen. Thanks in advance Karl
ibby
The fuse is only in to protect the low current wire. I assume it doesnt spin up the fans etc. Find relay for heaters and tap the top. Dont hammer it!
Scooter
This might be of some help? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?6836-Lack-of-power-to-the-Aircon-unit&highlight=aircon+connector
C12MMO
Thanks for the replies, I tried to see what the error message came up with but nothing came up and now the full unit doesn't light up? Where would the relay be located?
