Dim Sum
Just wondering if anyone could help. Recently I noticed the Supra is giving out what I consider is high pressure from the fuel cap after driving it hard. I only noticed this because after a drive I went to the petrol station to fill up. Mine is a single turbo, running twin pumps individual feeds to the fuel rail and charcoal canister removed. Any help appreciate it.
David P
That's normal for a Supra that's had the charcoal canister deleted properly. The cap is a pressure relief valve @ 2psi.
JackyBoi
I have the same. After driving I open the fuel cap and you hear a very audible 'hiss' as it releases the pressure. Never thought much of it

Never thought much of it okay its only because I feel like recently the pressure seems to have gotten stronger (higher pressure) when opening the cap it feel like I had to slowly undo the cap otherwise it feels like it will shoot out lol
