Wonga Spar
if you plan to remove it soak those heatshield bolts in penetrating fluid, wire brush the tops etc as the studs can shear. Yeah they got a drenching, absolutely horrible to get out. Looking at the condition/rusting of the exhaust manifold studs this is just a warm up.... How far along did you get with the na-t setup? Every time I settle on a decision as to which direction to take this car in, I change my mind a few days later. This has been the case since the start to be honest. Realistically the answer is to sell up and buy a TT Auto, but with my housing deposit slowly building to a sensible point this would just be stupid. However the absolute last thing I need is a Supra with a busted gearbox and half an NA-T job. I maintain I'll be going about it as planned, decent used components sourced over a period of months, I'm just being far too much of a wimp to pull any triggers... Tl;DR - Who knows Just gunna keep browsing/learning/trying stuff and see what happens. At the moment it's technically a very clean Supra, not sure it's smart to hack into it.
