Josh42
That is the correct part number, but i would recommend just sticking with stock.

Dnk
I only ever used stock Toyota oil filters in my TT's, both cars combined covered more than 200,000 miles so see no point in using anything else
Ric
The K&N ones have a socket fitment on the end of them, incredibly helpful for undoing and tightening with ease. I've never used them but i was planning to next time, whats the thoughts?

Wez
Wouldn't bother with the HKS filter, you can get magnetic sump plugs which cant do any harm. I get my filters, plugs, oil etc all from OpieOils on here
Frank Bullitt
If you were dead against using the original Toyota one you could use one from a Lexus SC430. It's a larger V8 oil filter, part number 90915-YZZJ4. Here is a link to the magnetic sump plug - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?316265-Gold-Plug-Magnetic-Sump-Plugs-now-available

David P
This what I use, shown here next to a stock one, it ups the oil capacity by a litre and has the useful nut head. It goes here on a relocation kit, where it's in a cool draft and out of the way, it's easy to get at and helps cool the oil. David P
Increasing filter surface area, increasing oil capacity and improving cooling, can only be good things.

David P
A unlabelled pre-loved kit? The threaded adaptor was made to suit, the one it had fitted nothing, which is probably why it came cheap.
evinX
I change my oil every 6 months and use these, K&N PS-1002, i purchased a load so i dont have to wait for one filter at a time http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PS-1002-K-N-Performance-Oil-Filter-Toyota-Suzuki-Saab-Mazda-Lexus-K-And-N-Part-/222187622545?hash=item33bb6a1091:g:NI4AAOSwtnpXiOPa
