But the celica looks stunning all of these cars look related in their styling infact I'd go as far as to say inbred

 

The Celica superficially looks like many of them :) not sure why you're surprised though, American cars of that era had fairly consistent styling, as did European cars.

I'm suprised if I wake up every morning ;) and I can see why manufacturers would copy a winning formula they all have similar styling cues I suppose what is sexy sells :thumbs:

Still happens today I guess, angular lines seem to be the fashion, manufacturers like BMW and Audi bring out a new model/incarnation and many other manufacturers follow suit.

Few modern affordable cars have any 'soul' now though - there are maybe a couple (although I'm struggling to think of one lol) but sadly they're the exception rather than the rule. Suppose that's why we're all sticking with our 20+ year old cars!

I started this thread with an 'if I ever won the lottery', I didn't, but the money from the sale of my supra meant I could import this from California :) due into Felixstowe in a couple of weeks, can't wait!
