Hybrid Turbo td04 td05

Hi folks,

Its for sale because of going to single turbo.

I have TT AUTO and it came from there.

This hybrid turbo (td04 and td05) was running aprox. 6000 miles on 1.8 bar(max) and held 464 lbs/ft torque.

You can see on dyno chart pics about 435 BHP.

It has really good condtition. No smoking no shaftplay.

I have any other parts if it's necessary to BPU.

I was really satisfied with this config but horsepower is never enough. :) It's perfectly usable in daily driving.

There are some pics on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-MK4-AUTO-Hybrid-Turbo-td04-td05-/222294375717?hash=item33c1c6fd25:g:YVIAAOSwA3dYEMLn

I'd like SOLD for it.

It would help with more info, hybrids vary in so many different ways. I.e. billet/steel wheels, bored out housings, 360 thrust bearing etc etc. But the price does seem a bit steep considering you can get them done brand new for ~£1000 with various other companies.

They should sell very quickly if priced well, 2nd hand hybrids never come up for sale. I was in the market for some myself a couple of months ago.

My mistake, apparently Budapest is somewhere in Cambridgeshire. :)

Oh yeah. It's a good point. Also I live in Hungary and UK because of job. Supra is parking here now in Budapest in a workshop. There are some great japaneese tuning places here. The reparing cost is much cheaper than in the UK. You can decrease the budget especially if you check how much would be a full engine refurbish, swapping AUTO gearbox to 6 speed and single turbo conversion in UK and in HUN.

I hope last stage will be finish soon.

So hybrid turbo is here in Budapest and waiting for the new lucky owner. :)

Is this a standard fitting? Plug and play?

You shout out about being on an auto, does it make a difference as I have a 6 speed?

td = turbo dynamics, am I correct?

Yes, its "plug and play" hybrid turbo. It's same like the OEM twin turbo but the inside parts had been swapped with td4 and td5 inside parts.
