Offset 30 or 38 for front wheels

I have recently recieved my Supra JZA80 from Japan, and i'm sooo happy!

I't came with some very cool Wedssport TC105N wheels, but the offset on those are very bad. Front: 9,5x18 ET10, Rear: 10,5x18 ET12, they're rubbing the fenders badly and sticking out too much..

So i am looking for new wheels, and have fallen in love with Work Emotion Ultimate Kiwami in bronze.

The sizes i'm looking for is:

Front: 8,5x18"

Rear: 9,5x18"

I've found out that ET/offset 38 is perfect for the rear, but i cannot decide which offset for the front? I can choose between offset 30 or 38, but which one will fit the best? It's running on HKS hypermax coilovers, and i'm not going for any extreme ride height, just don't want to rub the fenders!

Thanks in advance! :)

just curious, but with your current wheels fitted, are the arches rolled. asking as I have some 10j et10 which I was thinking of using, but don't want any rubbing or sticking out from arch.

On the rear they'd stick out beyond the stock wheel arches by around 25mm, on the front by around 35mm.

Hey Syco

I've attached a picture of how the front wheels line with the arches in front, front size is as mentioned 9,5 wide and ET10. I don't have a similar photo of the rear wheels, but it is pretty much the same problem in the rear with 10,5 wide and ET12. :)

The arches are rolled yes.

So you say that ET38 would be better to choose, than going with ET30 at the front?

I did, after hours of searching, find a picture of a JZA80 with what appears to be 8,5x18 ET38 at the front, and i think it looks like it fits nicely!? :)

woh, 25 is a lot. is there plenty of space in the wheel tubs on std suspension as when I eventually get some new wheels, I wanted 10j -11j on rear and 9j on front but I am finding it hard to find sizes by searching as some tell you that there arches are rolled and some don't, then theres the ones were they stretch the tyres aswell which makes it more confusing.

Steffen A, thanks for posting the pic, much appreciated, I love white supra's.

Thanks for the help guys! :)

I've now ordered Work Emotion Ultimate Kiwami for my Supra, in the Ash Titan Bronze colour.

Sizes i went for:

Front: 8,5x18 ET30

Rear: 9,5x18 ET38

I already have 265/35 tires for the rear, and will probably go for 235/40 at the front.

Cheers
