Guest pedro7256
Hi all So the other day I plugged my inverter in like every other day and all was working fine. A few mins later I noticed the socket had stopped working so I did the obvious thing and checked the fuses and every single one is fine but I replaced the cigarette lighter fuse just in case and still no go So my question is.... I have read there is a secondary fuse on the back of the socket it's self? Is this true or another case of don't belive everything you read? Also any ideas of what else it could be? David P
There is a short solder link on the back of the lighter, should you ask too much of it, this melts in the heat.
SupraLEDrears
I had this problem but my plug kept pulling out the back due to the socket being loose. I just cut the wire, put a fuse holder on it and soldered it to one of the multiple socket adapters and secured it near the passenger footwell.
