Linear G Sensor -- Motec Traction control

Hi

I just remembered the Supra has a G Sensor from Factory , Setting up the Motec Traction control I was thinking of installing a G sensor from an EVO, determine the angle the car is at in relation to slippage

Do we have any information on the Supra G Sensor , I have the RZ model so the Linear version was Standard from what I have read

Where is it located , I presume you can hook into it via the ABS ECU

A tri axial g sensor is about £2.

Stand alone version (no SPI bus required)

The ABS G sensor is mounted by the hand brake. I have a spare one as my ABS is going in the scrap where it belongs. I guess as long as it's linear 3.3 / 5v it should be quite easy to work out what is what. But when you have a unit for £8 which is ready to go and ecu compatible with know G/voltage scale why bother with the abs unit.

Thanks! Makes sense

I thought the mapper was having issues understanding how fuel injection fuel pressure worked, are you sure mapping a tri axis G sensor is something you should be requesting of him? :)

He made a mistake and configured it wrong , it is not that hard to select the incorrect item in the drop down sub menu , I do not have an issue with his ability just his attitude; he takes on too much and appears to rush things , make mistakes , men are not good at multitasking :)

He is supposedly very good at TC setup , I am spending all day Monday with him setting up Sequential operation / Traction control , just want to do it once and do done right

If I can get the full day out of him calibrating the car , we should be in a good place by the end

Would be good to get before / after boost dyno plots when turbos configured properly ;)

I will dont worry :)

I was also talking to John this morning who built the firmware , he said he will incorporate any additions I need to run the car in sequential for next revision

Not to be funny but someone who takes on to much work sounds like he is about quantity rather then quality and doesn't really have a professional manner!
