I want it so much, but I'm refusing to buy the new cod just to get this

 

What's it like remastered?

Bet it looks lovely :)

 

Most of the old school COD4 fans are refusing for the same reason, I did too. Did some digging as to if Infinity Ward would release it separately in future, but they are strongly against it. Probably because they know if they didn't release MW: Remastered with Infinity Warfare, they would get no sales on that awful game at all.

 

But honestly, remastered is awesome. They have stayed true to the original which is good, players that don't *always* sit in corners for killstreaks, and obviously the graphics/audio on full HD :). If you can look past the futuristic new crap, it's well worth it just for remastered.

Have they joined XBOX and PS servers together yet so you can play each other ?

 

I don't really play with my Xbox One anymore but I might have a look to see if xbox have done COD4

 

Not sure about the servers being together, but yeah they have got it for Xbox One too :).

 

I gave in and picked up infinite warfare just to get a rattle on the COD4 remaster, which is worth it just for old times sake and definitely true to the original.

 

I gave the infinite warfare campaign a run through on veteran and in fairness, as a space based shooter its solid enough. The multiplayer is absolute garbage tho.

 

Haven't given the campaign a go, simply because I'm guessing it would be carrying on from Ghosts or whatever the last one from IW was? It just got crap after MW2.

 

You are right though, I tried one game online while I was waiting for COD4 download, it is so bad and so campy.:banghead:

I'm thinking of getting Battlefield but I'm hearing mixed reviews, how do you find it online?

 

I think its a great game, it takes a while moving from COD to BF, you may find its not as smooth as COD but once your used to it its great fun

 

So much more to do and I like big maps ... Its more realistic IMO

Might have to make a purchase in that case, I do love realistic type first person shooters :).

Remastered is so clear on the PS4 but only has half the maps available at the moment. The rest will be released in December as a free download.

 

I'm just getting used the controls again as I've been pretty heavy on Destiny up until now so will need time to adjust. Still murdering people though.

Haha, I think I'll stick with COD 4.

 

To make it even more funnier, I have only just opened up my Turtle Beach headset (new from its box) to use with COD since buying my PS4 many years ago..

 

TB's all the way, always used to use it all the time on the 360. Been using my Beats on PS4, sound quality is even better tbh, only downside being no microphone.

I am still on the Xbox 360 playing COD MW2 , never found a game yet to compete against it online ; was waiting for a remastered version to get the new console , might take the plunge

 

I tried Battle Field as much as I would like to love it , the game play is not the same , I find it very frustrating, always getting killed; even after loading a clip into somebody , they turn around and kill me with one shot

Then the buttons, I dont know why but I have a habit of pressing the thumb button and just end up with a knife versus a gun or hitting the deck versus shooting ; I tried to change button combinations but no use
