Al Massey
I went through the boot. Undid the fuel pump cover and removed the fuel pump. Then had plenty of space to get the fuel out
Suprakeith
That's a good idea didn't think of that, do you know if there way to switch pump on and keep it on so can put container in engine bay with hose and pump fuel out using fuel pump
Al Massey
You could remove the fuel pipe from the rail, take the fuse out for the starter and pump it out that way?

Scooter
When people change the fuel filter they often complain of the detached hose draining the tank....
mwilkinson
I just siphoned the tank into jerry cans. Only needed a bit of hose.
Wez
I use a banjo bolt fitted to a couple meters fuel line then bridge the diag pins, pump then drains tank EDIT: misread, I fit a line to pump feed in the boot under the cover......
