Aaronmk4
So I recently bought my first supra with intentions of moving into Show and Shine as a few good friends already compete along with adam and his rx7 which has won trophies all over Europe! I'm looking into changing the colour ( which has been decided) to a certain blue, engine/interior/windows out so a factory job can be reached. So.... I had my quote back today of £2500 this includes smoothing excess holes in the bay, prepping and spraying inside and outside of the car minus the bonnet, repairing a little on the side skirts and front splitter, do you think that's a reasonable price? Little add on, I'm wanting to relocate the fuse box into the glove box, what cable/wire have people used?

AC93
That does seem very cheap!
rider
That's amazingly cheap for a back to rolling shell respray. I assume it means car delivered to the sprayer everything out and that would still be a very cheap price. Post who the quote is with then if its a good job I'm sure they would get lots more business. Aaronmk4
The body shop is SR Auto based on Anglesey North Wales, they did plenty of work on my last project ( toyota starlet) and was always very fairly priced. He builds type2 split screen campers to crazy standards in his spare time so I can already vouch for his work.

Style
People have been quoted that price to smooth the engine bay alone have they not? Never mind spraying the car!
bayside_supra
Sounds like a great price. I just got my dads bmw resprayed in the original colour for the same price. That was just a blow over and at a trade price. £2500 is very good
mplavery
If mine was that price I would of gone single turbo at the same time lol very cheap to what I have paid but at the end of the day if you have had work done by him before and you are happy with it I cant see why you wouldn't go with him. My only advise it to go through in detail exactly what you want done with the car, take the car to him and agree with a price and completion date I'm guessing that for that price your taking the engine out and stripping the interior ? Indeed mate, I'll be doing the full strip down myself although I've never striped a supra there's only one way to learn in my book and that's take it apart....put it back together
