Sandwich Plate fit with oil cooler assembly

Hi

I want to remove the Oil filter relocation kit but retain my 1/8 NTP oil pressure sensor

Question

Can I fit a Sandwich Plate to the oil cooler assembly and still get an oil filter on, looks a bit tight?

Sandwich Plate with Thermostat , I was thinking Mocal Thermostatic Sandwich Plate 571-OTSP1 with a 16 UNF

Get a two way adapter so you can use the stock oil pressure location for the oil sender and stock sensor. Took me 10 minutes to get mine installed this way

Mike sorry can show me a picture what the two way adapter looks like? Where is the stock oil pressure location for the oil sender and stock sensor

AS I have a 93 Think I found my answer

http://mkiv.com/techarticles/oil_sensor_mod/index.html

90401-19008 Union Bolt

90430-20016 Gasket

90301-68005 O-ring (Optional)

Supra 1998 / 2001 Lexus IS300 Setup

Solution

It is a pita to use a T bolt on the 93- 97 Supra, as the pressure sensor is screwed into the block behind the AC compressor.

The Lexus IS300 & 98 Supra run the factory pressure sensor on the base of the union bolt connected via the Oil filter housing , easy access

It is as simple as removing the stock union bolt and replace it with the Lexus/ Supra VVTI bolt, The new OEM bolt has a 1/8 NTP sensor port
