ibby
Basically.. some numpty drove into the back of my car at about 30 MPH. Hes caused the rear leg to buckle and the car skin to deform. Passenger side door wont shut. I've just had a notice from the insurance company that they value my car around £ '5800'. My car is a Toyota 2JZ-GTE Aristo MK2 with around 120,000. I don't know how many are in miles or KM but all my MOTs read in KMs So basically what I want know is they value my cars buy back at £1500, is it worth buying back and stripping to get some of the money back? @ Mods if I put this in the wrong section please move. j_jza80
I would say it's worth buying back, you should be able to get in excess of £1500 Just for your engine. Should make you a few hundred quid in other parts at least, probably more (gearbox must be worth a few hundred £ alone)
ibby
How much would people charge to take the engine out?
