a98pmalcolm
Ok so My rear end of the Supra has been squeaking and creaking when going over bumps or reversing down off the drive way ect. I have changed the boot rubbers and just fitted new shocks and its still there and is incredibly irritating. If I'm driving and pop the boot it stops. So I know its something to do with the boot being closed. Any Ideas fellas? MattP
It's a Supra thing I changed my boot rubbers and put a drop of grease on the hinges however our bumpy roads overcome and thus the squeaking continues also stiffer suspension makes it worse. I have also noticed under certain circumstances multi story car park ramps etc the car boot creaks as the car flexs about over uneven surfaces. Chris Wilson was right about how floppy the body structure of a Supra can be In standard form
mwilkinson
This happened to me too. I replaced the boot rubbers but the rear hatch just wouldn't shut up. I hoped I could adjust the rear boot latch, but it doesn't look like you can.
